That's how I had it set up originally. The cool tube isn't enough to cause resistance of any kind. This fits my tent better and lowered the temp by 2*. Now my temps have increased.. probably time to change out my carbon filter.
Do you know how to install ports on a homebox?
I cant think of any other way other than the hydrohut dual flanges, but that's pretty ghetto, and I imagine it'd weaken the tent considerably.
I also have a 400w in a Homebox S
I have an S&P 6" fan for exhaust (Carbon filter > fan > cool tube > outside of tent) and an S&P 4" fan for intake (through the port on the bottom left).
Unnecessary in a 4'x3'x2' box.
A 400w would be pretty hard to cool.
I have a 400w SCROG in a Homebox S (31"x31"x5') and have S&P fans for exhaust and intake in order to keep temps around 75* with 64-68* ambient temps.
I have a Homebox S + 400w lumatek, cooltube, ~16x8" carbon filter, and a 6" S&P fan for exhaust and a 4" S&P for intake and my temps are around 75* at canopy with lights ~10" away. Ambient temp is around 68-70*.
I also have a homebox and love it.
I made a test before out of panda film and pvc... didn't like it as much and wasted about 100 on it. The homebox looks so much better and less ghetto. I run a 400w in the S.
I bought an S&P TD150 inline fan. I have to wire an extension cord to it, I guess. Since there is no spot for a ground wire, can I just use a two prong extension cord?
Thanks
Would the yield gained by using a 600w instead of a 400w be significant with such a small area? ~59wpsf vs ~88 wpsf... hmmm... I don't think penetration would even be an issue, since they'll be flowered immediately after cloning.
And does anyone know how much more effective an enclosed cool...
I've been planning this SOG grow for quite a while now and want the biggest, tightest buds possible. I'm wondering if I'll have temp problems or if a 400w would be more suitable. The 400w would give ~59wpsf and the 600w would give ~88wpsf. At what point are the benefits of more wpsf...
