    Now What?

Keep looking at the base of the bud/flower. Thats where the little pollen sacs will develop. They will look like little test-tickles hanging from the flower.

    I'm puzzled what this is.

I'm just guessing, but it appears to be an ancient priestess medallion worn during the sacrifices to the gods during the equinox months of March, July, September, and December by the Incans. Or, it could be a birthday medallion with the months of the Mother's children's birth, represented by...

    SOG/Molasses Experimental Grow

Here are some pics of the experimental grow. Can't tell any difference in bud size yet, but they are only one month old today (Happy Birthday Babies!) and have only been under the flowering light cycle for 17 days. Hopefully they have reached the end of their stretching as I would like to keep...

    to flower or no

If you are currently using 18/6 light cycle, just extend the next dark cycle to 12 hours and begin the 12/12 cycle then.

    Clone Question?

Now that I am achieving nearly 100% success rate on my clones, I can admit that I killed many clones before I figured it out.

    Clone Question?

Keep in mind that the clones probably came from a curved branch. The clones naturally want to assume that same curved shape. They will usually straighten up in a couple of days under floro lights. If not, I use small sticks inserted into the rooting medium to straighten them up. These...

    Need some help

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your grow. For pot size, you will need to know how long the plants will be in the pots. As a general rule, a 3-gallon pot will be okay for a plant up to three months, a 5-gallon pot is okay for up to five months. If you want to raise a plant outside for...

    to flower or no

It appears to have plenty enough vegetative growth to begin flowering. It will stretch somewhat during the early flowering stage, maybe as much as two feet. Eight weeks under a 400W light should produce at least an ounce up to a quarter-pound or more. Good Luck!

    Good Babies??

For veggie growth, I've used a combination of 30W CFL's and 42W CFL's in a homemade light fixture. Pics attached. The smaller bulbs are "daylight" and the larger bulbs are "soft white" bulbs. They work great for seedlings, clones, and vegetative growth. I have had plants begin flowering...

    SOG/Molasses Experimental Grow

Here is the basic info to this point. The clones were cut 1/5/08, placed in GH Rapid Rooter plugs under a humidity dome. By 1/19/08, all clones had rooted enough to be transplanted into 2-gallon nursery pots containing a mixture of Miracle Grow Moisture Control Potting Soil and Miracle Grow...

I'll post pictures once I figure out how to use this Picasa program.

    SOG/Molasses Experimental Grow

I'm new at this forum and grow journal stuff but here goes. I am starting a SOG bed with twelve clones. Six of the plants will receive molasses as a supplement, six will not. All other care and feeding will be identical. The hypothesis is that adding molasses as a supplement will increase bud...

    Molasses and/or sugar during flowering

1 tablespoon of molasses, dissolved in room temperature rainwater or reverse osmosis treated drinking water available at your local grocery store (if chlorinated, leave out for 24 hours for the chlorine to dissipate). I usually adjust pH to 5.5-6.5 before adding the molasses. Can be used...
