Algae!!

I have what i think to be an algae problem (brown and greenish gunk) on the roots and all over the res. Is it algae? and also what does the brown spotting mean? I have good ph, i did find a piece of rusting metal in the bottom of the res, rust poisoning? or mabey just the algae problem?

if algea is occuring then light is getting in the rezz and the rezz temps are to warm and theres not enough arreation.

flush rezz, clan roots off...and get more arreation and make the container light proof.
