black on leaf edges

this happened last year as well.near the lower half of a plant is black edges on leaves very close to just started bud sites.it is the shady side of the plant. have not had much rain.i so hope this is not mold,already.although it must be.last year,i cut out the section with this early black stuff.it came back,same area,cut it out again and did not reappear for amonth or two on the bigger buds just before peak harvest.

Although the damage appears to be brown or red in color, with the 80 power mag., it is black, black, black. Thanks
