brown spots yellowing leaves

having some problems its about 8 inches tall, a month old planted in a 2 gallon pot of promix and im useing a 20-20-20 without micro nutrients that might be part of it. its room temp about 75 four 26 watt daylights cfls. is it alright to try to see if its a female with it like this or should i wait

Sounds like nute burn.. how many tsp of nutes are you using? for a plant that small, you should flush with plain water until it runs out of the bottom, then start with 1/16 strength nutes to 1/4 and SLOWLY move up until you feel they can handle it. Good luck!
