Carbon filter not cuttin it

Hey... So my two plants are still veggin ( ak47) and are about foot and a half, 2 feet tall and when i walk into my appartment i can smell teh plants.. this is a homemade filter.. I used GroTek carbon so i no that isnt the issuse.. can carbon go bad??? oh my filter is about 2 feet long by 6in round( outside di.) and 24in by 4in inside di.. humidity isnt an issue either. should i make a way bigger filter????

In small areas where you can't exhaust the air out of the general vicinity it's hard to get all the smell out. You could try getting an ionizer or ozone generator. I have a silver bullet that works pretty good. It smells like ozone but covers the others pretty well.

thanks for the reply... ive just put a fan in my window now to exhaust the air out to bad its damn winter now..

You can always try getting one of those big Ona gel buckets too. You just set it out somewhere and it lasts for a good while. There's a few different types.
