commerical growers when harverst?

I was wondering when the commerical growers harvest their grows. what signs do they use. the trichs color or bud size, time of grow or all of the above and some more? thanks

well, Idk about "commerical" growers but I look for a nice blend of mostly milky mayhaps a touch of amber. It's really up to personal l preference but make sure you're beyond the transparent trichome age.....

Trichs are the only real way to tell imho...and I like mine around 30% amber

I use all of the above. I grow for others and grow different types that have different highs. So I start by figuring the time period then when It gets close to the time for a particular plant(according to the breeder) then I look at the buds for maturity and then look at the trichs so that I get about 10% amber for a standard high. If I have someone wanting a heavy couchlock then I will let them get closer to 25-30% amber. I always like to take them at least to 95% milky trichs on any of them before pulling.
