ok room specs 2.5W x 3H in my closet i got a computer desk lamp that a has a 8.25 inch round flour tube in it [960 lumens 6500k color temp 22watts] and [GE Soft White Spiral® T3: 2x 26 watt lights 2700k color temp 1700 lumens// 2x15watt 2700k color temp and 950 lumens each. should my herb be quality ??? plant is 8 inches tall plus a 6 inch pot

2.5 x 3 = 7.5 square feet
7.5 x 3000 lumens = 22500

You're going to need around 22500 lumens for that space. Right now you only have 6260. You'll have to pack in a couple more cfl, or upgrade, if you want decent herb.

Hope this helps :)

You have just about answered your own question.

5,000 lumens per sq ft for decent herb. Anything less than that will be that much less decent herb.

Easy to figure. You will get out of it only what you put into it.

Good luck dude.

Hey bro, i have eight of those 26w 1700 lumens cfl's that you speak of on my one lady and she is doing juuuuusst fine. I hafta kinda believe its all in the set-up, i am using some clamp light reflectors with y-adapters in them, i have 2 at the top aimed down on her and 2 at the sides aimed in. But like they said, you do need to get alot more lumens for your space, let's see, I have 13,600 lumens in a 2ftx2ft space. So i am barely over the 3000/sq.ft. minimum rule. Hope some of this helps.
