Flowering

I am thinking of getting a new strain..I have always used clones but I am going to have touse seed cause the ones i want to do i cant get clones...
I was on attitudes site and confused when it says flowering 8-14 weeks...So is the 8-14 weeks from seed to harvest or is it from starting flowering to the end product?

The 8-14 weeks is flowering time only. From the time you flip the lights to 12/12 to harvest (or when they show sex, if put into 12/12 before sexually mature).
