can you guys give me some tips on how to flush and when to flush. I have never done it

Let us know your soil / fert or hydro / nutrient schedule first off. Point out if its organic or chem. This will be of massive help.
Thnigs Like PH and PPMs are always helpful.

Hydro organic is no joke. Its a very precise method of hydro, I would love to see the progress. What nutes and system do you use?

I dont use organics but when I used rockwool I liked to flush for a good week, with plain water PH accordingly. You see all the ferts in the clean water, changeit a couple times and there will be less and less. Now I use buckets and the watering is constant so I figure i can shave off a few days, but the same idea. Goodluck with evrything!!!
