High Times Magezine..Worth the price?

Does anyone here get high times magezine? Is it worth the high price for the subscription? I have been thinking about getting it but wanted opinions first. Are they good with getting the orders out? thanks people!

$2.50 a copy? Sure!

I buy it at a book store when I want it. I don't want every issue. I get it about 4 times a year. I should get a subscription. It's the same price for the whole years worth that I pay for just 4 copies...

Yeah, I just looked at their site and it says it comes in a plain wrapper.

The mailman will always know what's in it.

I think I'd rather buy it at the bookstore. They don't know me.

I love the magazine. I read the newest issues all the time on tour. You'll see some amazing pictures of some of the best bud in the world.

Well worth the price.

I've got atleast the past 3 years worth of HT mag. I don't get the kick out of it that I used to, but I still gotta have it every month. I'm with Stoney on this one, I get it at the bookstore. I don't wanna have it delivered to my house, no matter what kind of package it comes in. <END> tinfoil hat

Put down the joint man. There is no way it's $100 a year. Personally I've flipped through one before. Anything you will learn in that magazine you can learn for free online.

Edit: Just looked it up. It's $80 for three years.$30 per year.

Look at the screen-shot below. This is taken from the High Times web site.

29.99 per/year, divided by 12 = $2.4999 per/issue. ($2.50)

With the 2 year subscription, it's only $2.29 per/issue

With the 3 year subscription, it's only $2.22 per/issue

At the book store I go to, it's $6.50 per/issue. That's $78 per/year if I bought each issue.

I couldn't agree more, Effen! I think the absolute best place in the entire world to go to for any and all marijuana growing advice is http://marijuanapassion.com/forum

Sure, there are instances of poor advice, just like with the magazines, but you can write the author back right away and have your own opinion considered as well as the authors!

Plus, here at MP, we have more professional growers than any magazine has on staff. More crops are represented, more methods of growing discussed more frequently and the people, did I mention the people? There are so many cool people on this site that a magazine just doesn't compare.

You want High Times? Come to Marijuana Passion! There's more high times on this site in one month than that paper magazine has had between it's covers since it's first issue.

How about a "Marijuana Passion" monthly magazine.... hehe

Put the best posts of the month in each issue with full color pics of all the bud.

while it's true you can get pretty much everything (and more) their mag gives you online for free instead.. my computer just does't fit well in my bathroom though

i'm just a 'grab a mag once in a while' kinda guy anyway.

I think it gets delivered the same as playboy does.
I do agree about going to the store to buy it even if its costs more, think of the extra money as insurance.
I buy it 1-3 times a year in the store, cool pics and adds IMO.
