about people starting to grow their own tobacco.
i think that's cool. a step in the right direction.
why let big business get rich while poisoning their customers.
instead, grow you own, no chemicals added, just tobacco.
if i ever start smoking cigs again (9 yrs free) i would definitely grow my own.
just the same as the herb... safe, you know whats in it.
spending my life here in southern new england, i am no stranger to tobacco.
worked in those fields from when i was 12 till my 16th birthday.
will never forget the aroma of those curing sheds...
wish i needed one of those barns to cure my stuff in! :D
k, just thought ide share.

100 years from now, government subsidized, radioactive marijuana will be whats killing people. thats why i'll always have a plant in my backyard.

got fam in Kentucky. tobacco , usa. been a smoker for 30 odd years. a habit i will never be able to put down. smoking dried leaf straight from the field is awful tasting. might as well smoke cabbage leaf. better yet, just grow mj, and smoke that...:hubba: ...

I just harvested some "Indian Tobacco" as it's called. Supposed to be more suitable for north climate.
I had probs with soil having too much clay but I did sun-cure a good bunch right on the porch.
Kinda reminds me of a viceroy when smoked.
I got seeds for next year already so I try again.
:)
