light covers?

i recently saw a vid on youtube w/ the plants right up touching the lights. it looked like it had some plastic cover on it. anybody know anything about these.

Glass lenses with air cooled venting most likely. My bro has 2 1000s cooled like that and you can almost touch the canopy and not burn them.
