i am tryna to figure out the best store bought plant food for the first stage of my plant

:welcome: I too am a new grower and you came to the right place for help! theres tons of people willing to give you information here on MP... and while im NO expert i know that you won't really be needing any food or nutrients for the first couple weeks but for the first stage (vegetation) your gunna want to look for food that is high in nitrogen. with plant food they'll give you an NPK ratio the three numbers that look like this.. 12-24-7 on plant food.. nitrogen is the first number and in a guide i read he says for vegetation you should use nutrients high in nitrogen. a 2-1-1 ratio is good so anything like 10-5-5 or 20-10-10 should be ok.. I'd wait for some more responses but hope this helps!
