Nutreients and minerials??

My FRIEND is growing 5 plants under a 4 foot 120 watt flo light

he is using miricle grow soil (has sum nuietrients in it already)

but he has realized the plants arnt making much growth progress in the last week

Is there any house hold nuetrients or minerals he can add to the soil to help feed his plants? (ex. tablesalt? sugar? human urine?)

(house hold items if possible, but for store bought fertilizers, pls list exactly what they are and where to find them)

In order to help we need more info on your friends setup! It maybe other factors for slow growth it may have nothing to do with Ferts!

all he has is a fixed flourescent light 80+80 watts

he has a fan in the room

all he feeds them currently is tap water

the plants are about a month old but still very very small.....like 4-7 inches tall

5 leaflets currently on the plants



but my question was generally what can u add to the soil to help feed a plant??

Has he checked the ph ? it should be around 6.5.
