peach cheesecake

since zigggy sought help with her meatballs i thought i would pursue the same with a fresh peach cheesecake recipe. all i have been finding are recipes using a compote or preserves. does anyone know of a peach cheesecake recipe using fresh or canned peaches?

sorry drcree I don't know how to bake very well,,,i am a real good cook just cant bake,,,,,, every time I try I burn what ever I'm trying to bake ,,,I blame it on the oven

stiggy, thank you, but i did see that one earlier. her recipe is to cook the peaches and make a compote. any remaining peaches are placed on the top. i am just going to wing it and chop the peaches into chunks then incorporate them into the cheesecake batter. hopefully they won't be too wet and turn the batter into svatta.

no problems zigggy. your baking sounds like my cooking. time management is a big thing for me. trying to keep a half a dozen things going the same time just doesn't work out too well.

ol8, thank you for the recipe! it looks really good and almost what my attempt yesterday turned out looking like. there were some exception of course, no graham cracker crust and no fresh peaches on top.
the one i made was on a wing and a prayer. ginger snap cookies and butter crust, fresh peach chunks (~0.5" squares) and nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and some allspice--not to mention the cream cheese, sugar and eggs. all things considered, it turned out fairly well but needs a wee bit of fine tuning.
