This tree is pretty old and hasn't bloomed in several years. I was pleasantly surprised. Here in Texas, they won't be ready til late October though.

I'm shocked there's so many.

Rose, I'm not sure what they are, your guess is as good as mine..when we moved in an Asian guy would always come over asking if he could have some. For a few yrs I said ok. Then I asked him if he eats them all and he said he sells them. I put an end to that real quick!!

Cub, these are no where close to be ripe and are still rather small. I have a very funny pic of a kid who didnt listen to me and tried one anyway....lol. I can't post it here tho... Got an email addy?
