Some of my plants are starting to have a problem. Leaves are turning yellow-brown at edges and tips.

I've cut and pasted the questions from the sticky, and attached pix. Thank you to anyone who tries to help.

How long has this problem been going on?

Maybe 2 weeks.

Are you growing in a PVC grow tent? (example: Hydrohut or any other non brand tents)

No.

What system are you running? (DWC? Ebb flow? Aero? Water Farm? Flood Tables? and so on...)

Ebb flow.

What STRAIN are you growing?

Different kinds, mostly purples.

What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?)

Clones.

What is the age of your plants?

2 weeks into bloom after 6 weeks of vegging. So they're about 8 weeks old

How long have they been in there mixture they are in now?(coco, soiless etc..)

Since they were a week old.

How tall are the plants?

~18" - 24"

What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?

Bloom

What Technique are you using?

Not sure what that means. Nothing fancy, I just let them grow with a little pruning and one topping.

What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.)

Hydroton.

What is the Water temperature?

Don't know. Air temp, I imagine, which is about 75 in the grow room.

What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy?

White, no slime.

What Nutrient's are you using?(If growing soiless)

I'm using a brand called Ionic, which I don't think I'll be using again. My first grow was Dutch Master and I didn't have any problems.

How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*

I'm following the directions exactly.

How often are you feeding? (If using soiless)

I change the water and add new nutes every week. I flush every other week.

How often are you giving nutrients? (If using soiless)

See above.

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)

I flipped the plants on August 8, and they got their first flower nutes on August 10.

What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using?

I don't know what that means,

What is the pH of the "Tank"?

It's fine, I just checked it.

Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment?

I don't use a gizmo, I use the drops that turn color.

When was your last watering?

Changed the water/nutes 6 days ago.

What is your water temps?

I'd assume around 70-75.

When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional)

Two weeks ago.

How often do you clean your system: example: Flush out water replace with clean water and nutrients?

Every other week.

What size bulb are you using?

I use LEDs, the Procyon 100s.

What is the distance to the canopy?

About 10"

What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)?

I have a humidifier in there all the time.

What is the canopy temperature?

It's about 70 at night and during the day it's 80 during the day.

What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)

I have a carbon filter running all the time, sucking air to the outside.

Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ?

See above. Plenty of fresh air coming in from vents in the floor.

Is the fan blowing directly at plants?

Not at the moment.

Is your water HARD or SOFT?

I have to add PH down.

What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water?

Tap.

Are you using water from a water softener?

No.

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched

No.

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When?

Organic oil for spider mites applied weekly.

Are plant's infected with pest's

Nothing visible. Plants look good otherwise.

This sounds to me like nutrient problems. I wold recommend going back to what you said worked for you. OR I say GH 3 part is awesome. I feed 2 times the recommended amounts during bloom...all strains have loved it!

Flush out using Floroclean and switch to what works!

My opinion based on your info. It sounds like you are doing everything else spot on!

I believe that it is important to know the TDS when growing in hydro. Also, using the pH reagent drops isn't in my opinion, an accurate method of measuring pH; a digital pH meter is in order.

Whats wrong with the plant itself?

Can we get a picture of the whole picture?

You may or may not have adequate lighting. You may or may not have adequate CO2 blowing through...it seems your temperatures are fine.

Try to eliminate all "detrimental factors" in your grow so you can try to identify and eliminate the problem.

try to calculate the PPM of your fertilizer, should be between 1000-1500 and given in

good luck
