How long will a seed last without planting it? I pick up a bag of herb yesterday and had 3 seeds in it, and was wondering how long will they last without being planted?
I have work tomarrow at 12 and won't be home till sunday evening and didn't know if that will be to late

they can last for years if properly stored.
just put them in a bag or a film canister or something and they will be fine

yup your right i have seeds for years

what if you already germinated the seeds?? can you still like put them in the freezer to make them last??

That would be trying to attempt a form of cryogenics I believe. Once that seed has germinated, it's life cycle has begun and will only stop once dead. So, wait to germinate your seeds until you are 100% sure you are ready to get a new grow going.

thats funny toker.. haha! that would be trying to attempt a form of cryogenics. thats pretty funny man. but also, i store my seeds in pill bottles in the crisper of the fridge. i learned this from hightimes.
