This happened to me some years ago.
I was in the greenhouse tending to my plants and thought I saw signs of PM on one of them.
I bent down to look closer and a leaf scratched my cornea.
The thing is, if you look closely, the back of a leaf is covered in recursive spiny hairs.
I had a lot of damage, my wife took me to the clinic where they put an anaesthetic in my eye because I was in agony.
Please be careful around the plants and if you are bringing your face anywhere close, use eye protection.

Doc had to remove a small piece that stuck
