short plants outdoors?

Hey gang,
is it possible to have the plant grow only short and bushy? I'm looking into trying a few outdoor plants, but I don't need tall and lanky. southern exposure.

ur probably too late to top if u in flowering but serch on LST and super cropping yet both still wanna do more while still in veg yet. stress reasons.
ur ladies in flower or veg still or just lookin at startin just now?
