Should I be checking the temp at the tops of the plants in the light or at the base of the plants? The base is shaded and is a cool 72 degrees? the tops can reach almost 90.
I grow in a small 6' high 5' wide 2' deep space. My light is 3" high 4' wide 2' deep which doesnt leave much air flow from bottom to top where exhaust is. My light is also almost level with thermometer that reads 90 and is only a few inches over plants because its a fluorescent.
