Ok I just read the entire post and was in shock that some one though of weighting the pots :holysheep: ill never over water again :D

but my question is im about to get some DWC goin on and from what i can tell most of the roots are underwater the entire time does the air stones really keep them from being overwatered?

Hello Mike :)

You can easily kill a plant by over watering it in a pot because plants need air to their roots, so if they sit in damp/wet soil then cannot get air and suffocate.

In DWC the water is airated (high oxygen content in the water) so the roots can breathe even if permanantly wet all the time :aok:

Thanks Hippy
And i see what your saying the wet dirt keeps the plant from breathign while the air stone is pumpin air all the time

Dumb question i guess but i had to hear the answer lol
