So, I am at 40 days into flowering, Dwc, Morning Glory Clones. My pics I took of my girls will not upload, so I can't get them on here... Anyway, I am pretty sure that I have a Magnesium Problem. My meter had old batteries, that was giving me a low ppm reading, causing me to keep adding DM Gold line A + B to get the right ppm. That went on for about 2-3 weeks, and my 4 girls looked good. Then on two of them, I really started to see the change.

I flushed them with straight R.O. water for 24-0, then made a fresh batch of nutes, with the right ppm (new batteries in the meter). They started to turn around kind of... One of the girls, the worst of them, is looking real tough. All the big fan leaves are toast, but the smaller leaves close to the bud still have some green on them. The other one's are way better, but they are showing the slight downward leaf curl, with some lower leaf brown rust spotting.

So, like I said my pics won't upload. I am trying to give my best description as possible. I have done my homework and looked at the Def chart, and Thanks To Hamster Lewis for the info on getting the Marijuana Garden Saver book. Obviously, they were over nuted. Over nuted, giving them way too much Mag..., and too much iron? Locking out those elements, creating my problem.

I just gave them all new nutes, at a lower ppm, to try to save them. The three, I think I can still save, but I am worried about the very yellowed girl. I have about two weeks, b-4 I harvest. The tricomes on the yellowed girl, are 75% cloudy. I want to try to let it ride for a bit, but part of me thinks I should just cut her down. Any suggestions would be greatful. To chop or not, re-flush the one/or all? Like I said I really with I could gets pics up. Looking of any expert opinions. Thanks.

Did you resize your pics? It is almost impossible to diagnose problems from just a description. What is your pH?

Did you resize the pics They might really help. If your only 2 weeks till harvest some yellowing should be going on anyway. I would just watch it close and ride it out It will prob be ok might have hurt your yield a bit though.

Chop her down and make note to increase some Nitro farther into flower...Like others said though..Pics speak words work on it my friend:aok:

take care and be safe:bolt::bong:

I run a Mac, and I tried to resize, in iphoto, but for some reason it still fails to upload. I do have a different camera, and a pc. I will try to take new pics, and maybe my other computer later.

On iPhoto you have to import the pics and then export them in medium size...Make sure to click medium TWICE!

With pics it'll be easier to help

Thanks Puffin. Yeah, they really got over nute, being that my meter batteries were low and did not know it. I would rather spend the money and replace them every 6 mo, than over nute again. What a waste of nutes as well.

I would let her(Old yellar) ride for a little while longer and just go real lite on the nutes till yer ready to chop her. She still has a significant amount of green life in her. That will give her a chance to use up some of the nutes in her system so that the buds don't taste "ferty". I would actually go with very light nutes(400-600ppm) for all of them till harvest to allow them to clean themselves. JMO :)
