This is something I've been wondering about for awhile now. If light entering the growroom during lights-off periods is so detrimental (and I know it is), how do outdoor plants cope with it? No matter what, there will be at least some light shining on the plants 24/7, the night sky is not pitch black.

Ive always wondered that too. The only thing that ive ever heard is that the moonlight doesnt produce enough lumens for the plant to registar that it is lights on time. Or something like that.

In nature, a classic night even with full moon and crystal clear sky does not produce enough light per square meter to create daylight or twilight effect. Though when you turn on the light, plants get a strong light signal and it resets their time cycle.
