just perusing hydoponic setups and was wondering if this would work? would i get root rot with the bottem of the basket in the water?

It will work great. I have grown up to 4 plants in a five gallon bucket like that. Crowding will be the only problem due to the fast growth.

yea it will work but a 14 gallon i think is a litle to much depends on thesize u want your plant mines are kidda close but i canyeild just as much in a small plant than a big iratherhave30 small plants each yeildin a oz or more than 5 6 big plants depend on what u want you only gonna yeild a oz or more of a big plant anyway but like i said some people like theres big mines i cangetin a 2 inchnet cup and get it up to24 inches for floweringif i let them get to 10-12 inches vegetation
