Tonight was LST night.. I use the string used for wrapping up baked goods... super inexpensive and strong.

Muchacho F7 Auto's feminized..... after LST tonight.

Spreads things out and gets light down into every branch... the goal is to have a nice even canopy of as many flower tops as possible...

Mine always look sad compared to yours. I have only been growing since summer 2020. I guess I will get there someday. They do look better each grow ( mostly) I got a sick one I think the cat crop dusted it. Bas tard!

The more I learned about these wonderful plants the more I realized most of us over think it. Nutrients is probably the biggest scam. Soils is where it's at, feed the soil not the plant.. if you use good soil with slow release foods, all you need is a wee bit of supplementing... I've learned to read my plants most of all, to know what they need by sight.. Nutrient lines are for those who grow hydro because hydro you have to supply every nutrient from micro to macro..... soils store these naturally... a basic 3pt food, calmag and bloom booster week 5 to 7. walla. weed. hahah.
Biggest and best advice I can pass along, use your calmag people.. from week 2 of veg to 2 weeks before chop 1tsp/gal weekly and your grow will change forever... took me years to listen to my guy.... same guy who gave me my first Auto.... thanks Bigsur

I wanted to show you the results, almost immediate, of the recent LST work done on Muchacho F7 ladies.

Carty's Eclipse grow...... SOG style for the first time ever these 7 feminized Autos will be grown lollipop style
aka single cola grown.. wish I had my other 2 pots as 9 of the 1gal plastic pots fit inside this tent perfectly.
so, 7 it is..

And the winner is.... Beary White broke the ground and went green first followed closely by Predator.
by the end of the day on the 11th all were up and growing cept the 2 planted last... G13 and Bromar...

The 2 Muchacho F7 plants responded quite well to the LST done... simply poke some holes into the felt pots and I use thread used to baking and tying up a roast... nice sized spool very cheap... with removing some upper fan leaf to open up line of site to bud sites they've just gone bonkers loving it...
The 2 Muchacho plants are at day #42 or so from seed...

Thought I'd try my buddies technique of laying an auto over on it's side so when branching begins it forces it to start growing upwards....

I've removed the round cotyledon leaf and the single blade leaf directly above them.... she is on her side, yes it's a feminized seedling, so let's see how she grows out... but curious myself. he tends to remove all the growth cept the main stem and 4 -6 branches... all other larf stuff removed.... never to old to learn

It's official then... Jan has very small hands people. hahaha. photos without something in it to give it scale can do this, appear larger then life.. but not the case sadly. they are however beginning to swell up nicely and put on some weight. Probably a wee bit smaller then a water bottle in width.. and stinking up the house.. hehe.

One that is super stinky, but not here anymore.... the Pink Mango x GDP that was listed as an Auto that turned out to be a photo period... can walk by his place on the outskirts of his yard and smell his mobile home... says in 4yrs his place has never stunk... well, welcome to better weed.. hahaha.
