I have some seedling growing and two of the three are doing good, but the one shell wont split. It keeps getting taller with the bean on top. What can i do for this or what causes it, how can i fix it, will it fix itself?

If this has been addressed please just write me the link.

It will usually fix itself, but you could try to gently remove it with tweezers.

:)

thanks I'm just worried out it not being about to make food for itself and die if it can't break it off by itself.

i would gently gently gently pry it off.... maybe try misting the shell to soften the connective tissue then try and remove.

Hello I just wanted to add this.
It looks like I have fixed the problem the germ is now breaking the shell on its own. All i did was take a pair of pliers and gently crack the shell. I tried to pull it off by hand but in fear of hurting the little guy I decided to take that route.

Thanks to all that help me, you could leave this up for others or close it.
