Light distance?

what would you suggest for distance between lights and plants im currently running 2 600 watt cool tubes so heat is not really an issue

i was just gonna start about 6 or 7 inch from the tops of them and slowly work my way closer just to make shure i dont fry them..i would love some input thx guys

I'm running the same lights, 12"-15" away for me...if too close, can bleach the leaves out...then no more photosynthesis

Some like it close. Other not so much. I run 1k bulbs about 8-10" away.

Interesting, no bleaching Chef ? Every time I move closer, Don't have a heat problem....just bleaches the top leaves & sugar leaves on me.

Once in a awhile a strain will. In general, no. Look at those colas touching the glass in the Nirvana group grow thread, some of the final pics. No bleaching, nugs got softball size.
