13 seeds and only 2 came up {day 10} and one died?

Help...

I am really worried about my 13 seeds, planted 11 days ago in rock wool,
watered from the bottom every day, and p/h 6.
One sprouted day 6, and the other day 7 then got wet and laid down and died.
The single plant is fine and healthy.
But there is no sign of new seedlings and its been 11 days!
Now I have seen seeds take 14 days or longer to sprout, but its getting close to 14 days.

How simple, sprouting seeds, to have a problem.
I'm sure they are coming up as I type this.
If they don't, I'll order more of the same and use sphagnum cubes.

Did you pH the rockwool before you used it? Most rockwool is high in pH--around 8--and it needs to be soaked in pH adjusted water around 5.5 or so before you use them.

Yes, I tested the ph and it was as you said real blue, 'alkaline'.
I brought it down a little, but not enough, I guess.
I didn't know it should be slightly acidic.

I need $15 more dollars and I can order another pkg of the same seeds.
