I guess every generation has a problem accepting the rebellions of the preceeding generation...

I remember back in 1972, when my sister's boyfriend (now my bro-in-law) asked my dad permission to date my sister...

My dad told him to cut his hair and quit wearing sandals, and then he could date my sister...a sick and twisted suggestion by any rational standard of today...

But the current generation's acceptance of Miley Cyrus is abhorrent to me...I can't see the artistic value in what she's doing...and she DOES have artistic talent...but she chooses not to emphasize it...
