Anyone run a wick system?

Does anyone run a wick system in soil outdoors? Been looking into it a bit, and it seems like it should work.

Do you mean one of those really porous hoses that leaks water slowly?

This is a wick setup, except I do not plan on using an airstone.

Tried a home-made system 1 time.

Used 3 lengths of capillary matting rolled into wicks.
No pump though.
Worked fine.
UK weather didn't

What size tray or pots and reservoir are you looking to use?
