From what Ive read, silican stone that over time will deliver trace amounts of silicon to plants which has been proven to strenghten them on a cellular level and contributes to faster growth and stronger roots?

Anyone have any experience?
 
i like 50-50 of silica stone and clay pellets.yes silica stone is slow release.
 
What brand names is the silica stone sold under and where can I get info on it?

Is this silica stone and Higromite the same thing? If not, will someone please tell me what the silica stone is and where does it come from?

I asked Dr. Wormy @wormsway if they were the same and he said that they were essentially the same.

Now I'm hearing about grow stones that are recycled glass that is treated similar to the clay balls during manufacturing only is glass based. Does anyone know if the glass stones will release silica or are they inert like glass is?
