Black Light during growing

Came acroos this question 17 years ago and just remembered it!

Does a black light have any effect on growing?

Can it help during the dark period?

No light is good that I no of during lights out.

only thing ive heard for dark lights is for aquariams for switching salt water tanks nocturnal

ive read that a green light of some sort, like a green bulb....photosynthesis doesnt recognize this spectrum of light or something along those lines

I wouldnt think a black light would do anything but hurt during lights out period

No black lights do not = purple hairs. Black lights do nothing. And the plants do not react to the green spectrum of light so use those colors at night if you want to see the pretty ladies and not wake them up...
