Bulb not lighting

Restarting my grow room, when I plug in my light it tries to fire, makes like a sparking noise, glows kinda bright blue but doesnt light up all the way, seems like it tries to fire again but doesnt light up. I tried a couple outlets to see if that is the issue, nope. I also lit it on monday or tuesday and it worked fine, any ideas?

Sounds like the bulb has went bad. IF you've been moving it around alot you could have caused wires inside the bulb to break or come loose.

I think that it is something in the ballast like the igniter or capacitor that is not working. However, it is always a good idea to have a spare bulb on hand, just in case of emergencies. You should certainly try another bulb, but generally when a bulb goes, it goes.
