Buying a Vaporizer

My best friend's birthday is coming up in March and I would like to buy him a vaporizer. What would you recommend in the $200-300 range? He is a disabled vet and smokes every day.

THG... I like my Da Buddha it is a whip type that one can attach a bong to for added cooling. I have had it for over 2 years with no problems. It is quite rugged also. I use it much like one would use a water fountain, I leave it on and when I need to hit it I just walk over to it and hit it. There is no temp gauge but with only a little bit of practice it is quite easy to know where to set the temp at. Also the vapor does not get stale.

I really love the Extreme Q. They are out of Canada and mine has a fan and all the bells and whistles. I just ordered some extra parts and enjoyed the service too.

Thanks HL, pc, and Rosebud--I will check both these out. It seems they are both available on Amazon and Prime eligible (I love Prime) for under $200. That fits better with my finances now. I have until the end of March, so figured if I make a decision, I will be able to save enough by then.

I have been using my DaBuddah for about two years with no problems at all so far. I really like it a lot. It is nice and easy to clean as well, which I always find as a plus.

THG, I have a Volcano Digital, and I really like it. Very smooth smoke. German engineering. Expensive, but a great vaporizer.

You can get the Volcano Classic (analog controls) for less than the Digital model, with the same quality. Well worth the money, but there are cheaper alternatives that perform well.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford a Volcano--that was the first one I looked at. I'm thinking that both the Extreme Q and the Da Buddah look like they are in my price range and both have good reviews. It will boil down to one of those, most likely. My buddy is the kind that would really like the remote control feature of the Q, I believe.

Hammy, this is just my second year with Amazon Prime, but I love it. I had a 40" TV delivered overnight for $3.99! Plus I stream videos and have access to the Kindle Lending Library. I have a Kindle Reader and a Kindle Fire--love them both.

My brother in-law loves his Purple Days, though I personally enjoy my VripTech Heat Wand with my bong. Hello THG, I use the "Vopormatic" Digital Vaporizer. It has Bags that the vapor stays in for along time. I have never checked how long, don't last that long around me.lol. It's forsure not hot or raspy tho, and great for your health. We want you around for along time Ms. Hemp Goddest. Peace.

Check out the Silver Surfers, they are similar in style to the Da Buddha but all the reviews i have read seem to be much more liked, i love mine.
