I decied to check out a couple leaves today.
Under a Microscope 40X
If I looked at the trichs on top of the leaves(not a thru view) - they are amber.
If I look at the trichs on the sides ( thru view ) They are clear.
I am thinking I should go by the thru view ?

Thru view = light passes thru the trich
Not a thru view= the green leaf is a back stop

Soundin to me yual gettin perfect mixture and would to me blade at this very moment but that just me and weres I likes it pilgrem ;)

i clip a leaf off the plant in various areas, just a tiny piece and check it on a black background out of the grow roo. light can play tricks sometimes. just sayin! if the tops are where you like em and the sides and lower is not, then chop just what is ready and wait for the lower and sides to catch up!

I dont know guys.
I think the trichs are clear. I think the light is playing tricks on me when I look at the trichs with the leaf as a back stop.
Mabey the Duck or Hampster will chime in:rolleyes:

Your trichs will have "color" when ready,no matter what the view. The background will just change the tint.
