I trim off any leaves i think is wasting space and energy.

As hopper said, trim away what is wasting energy and space. I look to remove fan leaves that are yellowing, ones that block light to bud sites and interior leaves that restrict air flow.

give 'em a haircut, the more air circulation the better...any fan leaf that stops light from hitting the lower buds should come off...

Gave her a little trim

There is a guy from Jamaica that about 3 to 4 weeks before harvest trims all the leaves off. He gets huge colas. He said the buds and sugar leaves can get all the energy it needs from the sun or light and that he is growing buds not leaves.
