HELLO EVERYONE, well were up and running now. It;s been two weeks since transplanted clones. Ill try and take you through the build.

I started with this bedroom , 8'x11', and turned it into 2 rooms plus the closet for starters. the first 3 pic's are of empty room and some of the supplies. Having a stealthy room with good ventalation was 1 of my first goals.
I started by crawling my attic and installing a 2nd "air register" in the room, that way both veg and bloom room's would have there own air source. I installed "vent booster's" on each vent to help pull cold air into the room. Along with a couple of small fans mounted on the wall to move the cool air. On the ceiling, directly above the lights are exhaust fans from home depot. These are cool because they have there own little flapper valve to stop reverse flow if 1 exhaust is on and 1 is off. i "Y'd" these into a 4" carbon filter. the 4th ,5th & 6th pics are of vents, fans, and boosters.

As for the divider, i basically cut the room in half with 2x3 and used black/white poly for the wall's. I intalled zippers on my doorway to make shutting down easier.

OK , after i built the wall, i screwed a couple sheet's of 3/4" press board to the ceiling to hang light and fan's from, that way i dont hane a bunch of holes in my drywall. I hung a 1000w sunsystem hood in each room. at first i had a 4" 170 cfm fan pushing cold air through 1, then the other hood. NO GOOD! I changed this so my fan pulled air through a "Y" from both hood seperately. Now both hoods have there own cold air. Much better. fan exhaust's hot air through the air box i built and installed inside the window frame. From the outside, all you can see is the mini-blind's.
For the light's, i used easy-adjusters to hang them. Also, the ballasts are in the garage hanging from the rafters, so i dont have that heat to deal with, but i still put a small fan on them just to make them happy and last longer, perform better, ect...
So, i built my wall, air box, fixed cooling, closet for babies, dis-infected the room, and now, i still have to add a circuit breaker and a couple outlet's so lights will have there own power source. But My babies have been in now for 2 weeks and 4 out of 8 are doing awesome, i do have some more ready for back-up. I think i have about 2 more weeks before i need the electrical done so i can run both lights. PIc's of babies should be ready today.

MORE COMING LATER TODAY, CANT WAIT TO SHOW YOU MY BABIES!!!!!!!!!! ok, my cousin cloned them for me right about 7-15-08. In cube's withsome root's showing, transplanted into pot's on the 27th. I think I got a couple very nice 1 's going. I figure they'll be moved to bloom room in a couple more week's.
OH take a look at the air box, 2 carbon filters(4") , i think it came out pretty good. no daylight through that window anymore.

pic 25 14 assorted clones im lighting for a friend for a small fee, 2 or 3 clones, lol that include: platinum cush, bubba cush, northern lights, trainwreck, "G" purp.

My babies are all a local norcal purple strain except for the 4 seeds of blueberry, the nl/tw and the unknown clone. first time and jumping in it with both feet.

OH , THE NICE 1'S ARE IN 10 GALLON POT'S IF THAT WILL HELP JUDGE THE SIZE, NOT BAD FOR 2 WEEKS IN, HUH?

thank you, never realized how much hard work this really is untill now. ive gained alot of respect for growers now. im up to about $2500 US now but i have just about everything ill need for at least a year, except soil and a few more pots, maybe some grow bags. I started this with a $1500 budget in mind. I was just a little off. alot more to this than just sticking some seeds in dirt, lol.:headbang2:

I THINK MY SOIL HAS BEEN A LITTLE MOIST. EVEN WITH A CHEAP METER FROM OSH IT SAYS WET ALL THE TIME. IM ON MY 2ND DAY NOW WITH NO WATER OR FEED AND THEY STILL LOOK GOOD. SOILS STILL MOIST JUST A INCH OR 2 DOWN . I WAS GONNA STARVE THEM TILL THE SOIL DRIES OUT A LITTLE. JUST GIVE THEM A LITTLE SIP EACH MORNING, JUST A COUPLE OUNCES OF WATER. SOUND OK??????? :hairpull:

Heres what I used to do when doing a mud grow... After feeding I'd wait to see how long it takes for the top 2 to 3" of soil to dry (in my case 3 days), I then feed every 2 to 3 days from that point on. I found this works a treat.

Hey halzey68...i like the setup...well thaught out and planed.and $2500...is nothing compared to the $$$$$$$ you will save not having to buy from street....The soil can take up to a week to dry out..I use that meter and go by it...sometime I water every other day and sometimes every four days...just keep an eye on her ...if she starts to show signs of droopy...dont water for a week...I am going with the grow bags 3 gallon this Fall...I was useing containers and think I will like the bags..Good luck and Keep up the good work

here are some new pics, plus a shot of my new homemade bubble cloner. big plants are 6 weeks since they were branches on another plant.
wanted to start bubbler out right so i filled it with 15 CASPER's & 15 Mendocino Trainwreck. 1st&4th pics plants are over 19" tall. pic 5 shows my attempt to FIM, i did get 4 flower popping up. 3 is another of a NL/TW clone

more. 1st pic is my northernlight/trainwreck clone. 2nd pic show fan pushing into fliter box and out window, pulling throygha "Y" from each light.3,4,5, are the 1st batch although 5 is a slow grower for some reason. 6 is homemade bubbler cloner(as per massproducers design) and 2 t-5 2' and tray with 9 blueberry seeds. 7 is a/c vent & booster in veg room(needs rotate counter clockwise).
