Growing Upside Down??!!

Ive heard this talked about before in groups and i just wondered if anyone on MP has ever heard or even DONE this method. It seems plausible if the plant is in rock wool and process for watering is crazy, well maybe not that crazy. I wonder if it would change any aspects of the bud?

I never heard of pot being done this way... but I have seen tomatoes done with AMAZING results. Being new, I will not tell you it works for pot, but from what I gather, pot and tomato, grow well in similar conditions, so my GUESS is, possibly? lol
