Hamster Lewis Presents The Fall 2018/Winter 2019 Grow Show

Going to be firing it up earlier than usual. The Wife is getting a little paranoid that she will run out of Meds before next harvest.
Since we got the new AC a couple months ago and the new skylights on the 2nd floor are done there is no real reason not to get the Show on the road. The Grow Room stays cooler now and since it will be at least 4-6 weeks of Veg I should not run into any heat issues.

First up is the choice of beans since I am not holding any clones. I went through the Bean Vault and pulled out some contenders. The pic below shows them.

From the choices above I have selected OG18 x Skunk and East Coast Sour Diesel x Tres Dawg. They will be joining some S1's of Boysenberry so that I know I am going to get females.

Beans will get soaked in H2O for at least 24 hours and then put into my usual soil of choice. Miracle Grow Seed Starter will perlite and sweet lime added.

Veg Tent is 4x4x5.
Lights will be a 1200 King LED.
Solo Cups to start. Then on to 1/2 Gallon Pots. Then 1 Gallon Smart Pots for Flower.
Nutrients will be GH 3 Part.

Hopefully, I can stay on top of the updates now that the new software makes it way easier to post pics.

Here is a Tip. If you own more than 1 tent and you take them all down. Separate the parts. Lol. I put all my tents parts together in one spot. So now I get to go through all the pieces and figure out which ones go to the 4x4x5.

Yesterday 2 of the Boysenberry S1's popped through. They are now under a small cfl.

So the 2 Boysenberry S1's are doing well and getting bigger. Nothing from the other cups so I dumped each one out and sifted through the dirt to see if maybe they were struggling to break ground. Nothing. Found the beans but no germination.
I had figured they were toast so a couple days ago I dropped 4 Purple Peyote x Deep Chunk in water and then soil. Hopefully, these do better.

While they are seedlings they are under a large CFL Bulb. Once they go into the tent they will go under the King 1200 until it's time to start flowering. Then the 1200 and 1500 will go in the 4x4x6.5 Flowering Tent and the Veg tent will get an HO T5 unit put in it.

I was kinda hoping you would do the purple one anyway!!! lol I'm excited and it ain't even my grow. I'm gonna get one of the King lights, soon I hope. It might have to wait till xmas. I really need to start growing again.

Okay done with the floro bulb and now the 1200 King LED is going in the 2x4x5 tent.

Here we are at just about a month on the Boysenberry and a couple weeks on the Peyote Purple x Deep Chunk. Started feeding them as soon as I noticed the bottom leaves going yellow. All else is nice and green now.

Boysenberry S1 Day 1 FLOWERING


Pulled out my 4x4x6.5 Flowering tent and flipped the Boysenberry last night. I forgot what a pain in the but putting together a big tent is. Only running one 1500 King LED in there for now. Will add the 1200 King in the near future. She looks dark green and very happy. Very pretty plant.

I wish I did. I was 6 in 74. It's a recreated poster. I love tents.

I guess I just gave away my age, lol. I looked it up, I was at Kezar in SF for that concert, summer 73. I never got to the Fillmore, but Winterland was our favorite venue. All of us under age too, dang it was fun.
