harvest too early...

well i got really paranoid about my plants getting stolen,and they appeared to be ready. So i cut half off and left the other half on. Since i have cut it off the stuff left on there has trippled in size.
SPEWIIIIIIINg.
They been outside for a week now. should i put them in paper bags for a couple of days then glass jars?
