Has anyone ever pumped cold air into the room at the end of the flower phase (say, the last week) to promote purple colors and such??

never heard of that myself but I would think that if you know the proper temps to get to so that you could cause that without getting too cold and shutting down the plant, that would be interesting and make for good bag appeal. But if it only affects the fan leaves then it wouldn't be of much use as you cut those away when you harvest.
