How to transfer clones

My buddy wants to give me clones. He doesnt live far, and will bring them over the same day. How can he do this? Also he might take the clones then have to store them for a day or two before we transfer them to my bubble cloner (thanks DIY!) how can he store them for a day or two?
We dont want to kill them babies!!

Storing... get a couple of those "twisty" cfl lights on them..

i assume you are talking about cuttings right? if so, you can just use throw them in some ph water and follow what kade said.
