i have 1 plant that won't take water

i have one plant out of the group that when i water it the water just runs out. it doesn't run down the side of the pot either. my question is what would make a plant or plant soil (fox farm ocean forest) not take water.

Did you just recently transplant?
I've had that happen after I transplanted.
Air pockets.
After a few waterings-it took it up.
