I am growing in my closet and the humid air is venting into my room. I keep the window open to get fresh air and to limit the humidity. Anyways the question is does sleeping with 6 plants make you extra sleepy or something. I am between semesters at school so I don't have anything going on I need to wake up for but alot of the time I go into my room I feel like sleeping. I barely have enough energy to download some internet porn. I normally go to sleep at 1 or 2 am but I normally don't wake up until 12 or 1 pm. This is not normal for me. Before I got my new roomates(the plants) I didn't sleep in nearly that long even on my days off. Has anyone heard of this phenomenom before. I also have a more serious question if anyone made it this far in this post. I transplanted my plants from 2 gallon to 5 gallon containers. Maybe like 5-6 days after they showed symptoms of rootbound. I just started using B-1 for the roots. I was wondering how long it normally takes plants to recover from something like that. The top leaves were curled and yellowish-green. I bought the clones and planted them in their 2 gallon pots and the have been growing since dec 6. I only checked one of the six plants and the soil Ph was around a 6. I changed the light cycle to 12 hours on the 6th of january. Thanks for everyones responses to these weird posts I make occasionally.

Question 1: You are on you own with that one. Maybe your in-between semesters and are actually getting a good rest.

Question 2: After you transplanted did you water heavily. All those roots are strectching out and getting good ole oxygen and H20 and nutrients that it was starved from being rootbound. May want to throw in a little extra-nutes (a touch more than ussual) in the water to perk up the plant a little.

Too pooped for porn  ?
Yikes  !!!

Ya know, this is the 3rd time I've read about this over the last 4 or 5 years on the internet--the sleepiness thing.
Other people have posted that having pot growing in their room makes them sleepy.
Maybe there's something to this. I know that "vapors" emitted from a plant can cause dramatic results.
Once a ex-g/f and I were out driving through some farmland. They were growing flowers--tall stalks with lots of blooms. My g/f asked me to pick her some so I pulled over, snipped a few and on home we went.
We put a couple of the flower stalks in the bedroom, a couple in the living room.
That night I had terrible nightmares.
The next morning I mentioned the nightmares to my g/f and she said she had had awful nightmares too!
So later on a neighbor stopped by I happened to mention the nightmares.
He looks at the flowers and says "You got those in your bedroom?"
"Yeah" I said.
"Let me ask you" he said "have you ever seen these kind of flowers before?"
They DID look kind of familiar and I told him so.
"Think dead guys" he said.
Hey yeah, THAT'S where I had seen these flowers before, at funerals.
"They're known to cause nightmares if you sleep in the same room with them" he told me. "That's why you only see them at funerals."

So that tells me that maybe just maybe growing pot plants emit some sort of vapors that make people lethargic.

Isn't dying considered a permanent sleep. I don't want those flowers anywhere near me when I am put 6' under. Infinite nightmare...don't want nothing to do with that.LOL

ThriveAlive or supperthrive will help relieve some of the transplant shock, also Mineral water will work great and plants love the CO2 directly on the root. It will loosen up the soil and roots. you wont need to ph balance the water just poor it on them. i have 3 3week old plants in my closet i leave the door open all the time and i never have a had a problem waking up at 6:30am. But that dose not mean that it is not doing it to you. Cause when i smoke it i damn sure get sleepy.

if her soil is at 6, a ph adjustment is certainly in order, and ph should be checked anytime "new or untested" nutrients are added. Both of the addatives you mentioned will change your ph.(neither are organic, neither reveal exactly what adding)

Thats right. But you wont need to do it to the Mineral water. It is allready balance. Thats the part where the (..........) is at.

"Your" source for mineral water may be a balanced 7, but it is also wise to check it.
I don't know if there are any Government Standards that must be met by companies producing bottled mineral water, in regards to alkalinity/acidity. But it also stands t reason that different companies, useing different sources, methods, ect. Could have varying ph readings.
