Messenger, ICQ, and stuff

I have noticed a lot of new members have a personal chat messengers linked in the handle. I just wanted to flag a security thing for all you guys. I chat with certain members on this forum, but I have created a bunk info and email that will not have any thing that reveals my identity. I also don't show it on the forum I only PM it out to those I wish to chat with then delete the PM as do they (I hope). I know yahoo and stuff asks for address, names, and crap like that also photos and PCcam stuff. I don't think it wise to have that kind of information even remotely tied to this forum. It is best to keep oneself totally anonymous for just basic internet safety. Just best to look into what your messenger reveals publicly. IMHO
