New guy

Hey guys. I'm new to growing. I've been reading your info on the site
and it has really helped me alot. I have a room in my house that I keep snakes in. I decided to take the walk in closet and set up a small grow room. Currently, I have 3 plants growing. One is about 24" and almost
8 weeks old. From the info I got from the sex identification, I believe it
is a female. (white hairy pistols) What Im not sure about is if its too
soon to start the 12/12 light cycle. I have had it on 24/24 since it was a
baby. I will try to send a pic as soon as I get a camera.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Boom

If your plant is in flower while giving it 24/0 lighting then you must have an auto plant.

Unless what you call pistils are not what you think they are

Pics will help us see what you see.

What kind of light are you using?

Putting a plant into flower (12/12) will make the plant at least double in size, so height controls when the plant should go into 12/12.

Gonna try to get a pic of it soon. I know I have kept the light (soft white
incandescent bulb) within two inches of the plant the whole time. Wondering if this is why it has stayed short but man, it has really blew out on the main stalk. Lots of leaves! Thanks for your reply guys.
