Hello,

Am getting the new room put together. I have a question.

I have 2 1000W hoods and 3 600W

They are arranged in an X. 1K in opposite corners with the 600's in a line.

I was gonna run HPS in the exterior lamps and a MH in the central 600.

Is this enough MH to be worth it? I have all bulbs so it wouldnt be anything extra.

The space is 8' X 9 1/2'

Thanks

I ran MH with my HPS and didn't see much (if any) benefit, but was and still am fairly new to growing.

I would just run all hps.

mH would be less lumens and more heat

IMO you've got some pretty good coverage in lumens p/sf, over 7000. I would up the mh to 2- 600's. You'll have a more balanced spectrum and still some pretty good coverage.

I guess the bigger question is if you believe that mh adds beneficial spectrum. I do, but many do not. Any way you go, seems like a nice set up. Happy growing!
