Hey all, in our Toxic Waste mini fun grow we decided to use the pollen I collected from my male Lowryder Mint with my fella's Lowryder Mint female. I used a small paintbrush to apply the pollen. I did this at the beginning of the week. After a few days the pistils on her started to turn brown. She is only 4 weeks old (remember an autoflowering plant too) but her pistils where the pollen was not applied are still white.

So.... is this normal? If not, what did I do wrong, and can I correct it?

Here's a pic of her after pollination..

Thanks in advance :)

Its been a while since I pollenated a plant purposely...however i seem to remember the pistils turning brown as a sign of the plant being impregnated with the seed...it's pretty normal i'm sure. No sweat! It just means that that 'egg' has been fertilized. congratulations its a......plant!

Yeah, when i pollinated a plant the pistols did the same, so your cool.......I think.

Thanks guys, I was worried I mighta killed my boyfriend's first plant! hehe :)
